This little cottage is one of a row of similar buildings along the High Street in Farndon, in Cheshire. It’s pretty typical of the style of properties here, although there are inevitably some very modern houses just away from the village centre.
Fair to say, I’m not a ‘cat’ person – never really gelled with them, and I’m quite nervous of those sharp claws… Guess I’m more of a dog lover. However, this ginger cat caught my eye when I was out today, and obligingly posed for long enough for a quick photo.
… actually a bridge ‘to Farndon’. Built in 1339 (yes, 1339) this bridge crosses the River Dee, at this point the border between England and Wales. Only wide enough for one car at a time to cross, traffic is controlled by lights.
