Day 17 – What’s Behind The Doors? …

Sometimes when I see an old locked up garage I wonder about the secrets it holds. Is there a beautifully restored vintage car in there, or just someone’s everyday transport, safely out of the weather? Is it full of sports and holiday gear waiting for summer or just a pile of old household rubbish to be sorted out? Maybe even something more mysterious? What do you think?

Day 14 – My Favourite Pub…

Not only is The Red Lion my favourite pub, but it’s also a brewery! The pub dates back to 1623 and the brewery was built on the site in 2010, brewing Slumbering Monk ale and Green Monkey craft lager. With great food too, it’s a popular stop on our walks in the area.

Day 10 – What a Difference…

… a day makes. After the glorious sunset yesterday, today’s weather couldn’t have been any different. It started off dull and overcast, then a heavy mist with drizzle seemed to overtake the whole landscape, blotting everything out and making driving difficult. Let’s hope for better tomorrow.

Day 7 – Old Methodist Chapel…

When we moved to the area, this was a Methodist Chapel, but was abandoned soon afterwards due to lack of use. For a while it was a furniture workshop, but looks pretty run down now with an old caravan dumped outside. I wonder what the future holds for this old building?
