Day 149 – Another Day…
… another meal out. Well, it would be rude not to meet with friends for lunch when asked. This is one of our current local favorites, and we weren’t disappointed. Trouble is, none of those chores are going to get done at home if we keep going out…

On my own at home today as ‘The Boss’ was out at a baby shower. So a perfect opportunity to indulge in one of my favourite lunches – beans on toast. Even better as it was home made bread….

Walking home along a country lane this evening, the setting sun was behind us and cast the most amazing shadow…
Day 127 – Good Morning World…
This was the sun coming up at the ungodly hour of 530am today. With no trains running over the Bank Holiday, our weekend guests needed to catch the 622am train back to London in time for work today… I’m up early most days, but not usually this early!
Day 124 – End Of The Season…
It may be the end of the soccer season, but it’s also pretty much the end of the bluebell season around here. Yes, there are still quite a few around (overall it’s been one of the best bluebell seasons for years…) but the colour is fading fast. Probably my last day out photographing them this year…

Day 122 – Swing Low, Sweet Chariot…
Although ostensibly we installed these swings in the garden for our two granddaughters, I suspect they also fulfilled a long term ambition of my wife to have something she never had as a child… Anyway, they all get pleasure from them, so that’s the main thing I reckon. 
Day 121 – Short Lived Display…
Despite my best efforts, our lawn has a fair crop of dandelions already this year. Their seed heads only last for a day at most, so an opportunistic shot before the seeds are blown away.
