Day 155 – Mother’s Ruin…
So today the postman brought me the third ‘instalment’ of a birthday gift from good friends. Another two miniature bottles of craft gin to try… I’m rather enjoying this!
Day 154 – No Room…
… at the Inn. The Corbet Arms was once a prosperous hotel in town, but fell on hard times and was derelict when we first moved to the area 11 years ago. The front half of the building has been renovated and houses the local Post Office and a small antiques business, but as you can see from this photo, the rear is still far from loved…

Day 148 – All Aboard…
Albrighton is typical of one of our small local railway stations. It only gets a few trains stop here a day, and is unmanned – you get your ticket to travel from a machine… This is a local service, bringing folks home from work or shopping.
Day 147 – Work In Progress…
This property, near Newport, has been derelict for quite some time. It looks like some progress was made on renovation, and then it was abandoned, judging by how high the weeds around it have grown. Could actually be a very sweet property…
