Day 146 – Up And Away…
With leaves back on the trees, this view up the lane near our house doesn’t get any better…
Day 145 – Lunch Is Served…
On my own at home today as ‘The Boss’ was out at a baby shower. So a perfect opportunity to indulge in one of my favourite lunches – beans on toast. Even better as it was home made bread….
Day 144 – Cast A Long Shadow…
Walking home along a country lane this evening, the setting sun was behind us and cast the most amazing shadow…
Day 143 – Eating Out Again…
After 2 weeks of fabulous food during our 2 weeks in Cornwall, it was back to normal today. However, with no food in the fridge, lunch out seemed a good idea, so it was off to our favourite local restaurant. Halloumi Fritters and salad was the dish of the day and tasted pretty good.

All of which encouraged me to get out and photograph bluebells at a different location today, while I still could.
Day 117 – Yum…!
A cheeky little snack tonight before supper – beef carpaccio with rocket leaves, parmesan and lime and garlic oil dressing. What’s not to like! Just wish there had been more…
Day 115 – Give Way…
Living in the country has its challenges, especially if you are in a hurry. On the way home today we found our way blocked by some of our local farmer’s 700 odd Friesian cows crossing the road on the way to milking. No problem today as we weren’t on a tight schedule, but there have been times when the 10-15 mins holdup while they cross has been a real pain…
